Who do the officers work for. Why is the paper not releasing that info. We need to know who they are because this is a serious thing. They may be able to carry their weapons in bars. But I will bet it is against the law to do it drunk or while drinking.

There were two full days between the incident at midnight Friday evening and the 5 a.m. posting this morning. Is this all that this newspaper can report on this story? I could get more information out of a brief visit with any one of the witnesses who were obviously very concerned about the situation as it unfolded (I have watched the YouTube post of the security cameras at the bar).

Jim;

I am with you the whole bunch should have went to jail,bikers included. Why in the world would any off duty policeman hang out at a place like this. There was a potential for a major incident they way they were flashing their weapons. The weapons looked like semi auto Glock pistols which most police carry. It Is my bet the police officers were from Springdale, that would explain the delay in the reporting and the lack of any specific information as to who they are and what department they work for. The news has a way of protecting the city of Springdale. If the Fayetteville police responded to a similar call where police weren't involved just Joe Blow I am sure Joe would have went to jail. Lots of questions need to be answered but a usual the reporting is lacking. Maybe tomorrow the News will report all the information on this matter, the public has a right to know where these two idiots came from.

If there was an incident that is worth publishing, then publish the names. The same standards should apply for everyone. If it were a local politician, would the name be published? I think so.

To All;

My post was wrong about these culprits being Springdale officers and for that I am sorry.

Champhiplee,

I appreciate your apology. Many would not have gone back and done that...it's nice to see something good on here for a change.

Have a great day!
