Randy Buckner & Brian Ison

Known as the “Hillbilly Cousins” Randy Buckner and Brain Ison bring their guitar skills to the Ozark Folk Center State Park on Saturday August 2nd. Both men are from” north of the border” in Springfield, MO and specialize in Merle Travis thumbpicking among other styles. Randy has been a performer, instructor and panel moderator for the Thumbpicking Weekend at the OFCSP the past two years. Brian Ison shares Randy’s passion for all styles of guitar and brings a unique flavor to the duo. Tickets for the concert are $12 and are available for purchase on the day of the show, no advance sales. Randy and Brian will perform the second half of the evening music program with supporting acts Rick Thum (Hammered Dulcimer) vocalist Ruby Pines and dance fiddler Roger Fountain. .
