ExxonMobil responds to Arkansas officials
Exxon Mobil says it is "premature" for the company to have "discussions of significance" with Arkansas officials worried about potential dangers the Pegasus pipeline poses to the Lake Maumelle watershed. The president of the Exxon Mobil Pipeline Co. also declined to release any additional reports or inspections beyond those already disclosed. He says the company will discuss various issues, including additional safety measures, "at the appropriate time" and before the pipeline is restarted.
