Andy Baugus, Jr.

Andy Baugus Jr., 71, of Fayetteville, Ark., died peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born May 16, 1951, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Chester A. Baugus and Wanda Landelius Brannan. Andy was a master craftsman. After retiring, he took up carving and made many beautiful pieces for family and friends. He is the owner of 2ndlifewood, which allowed him to use his skill and craftmanship but also mentor future craftsmen. You can find his beautiful handiwork all over the county. He is preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Jane Baugus; one sister Patty Henry; and one stepbrother Mike McKimmey. Andy leaves behind his mother Wanda (Bob) Brannan of Boulder, Colo., his brother Leroy (Susi) Baugus of Searcy, Ark.; two sisters Lois (Stephen) Scott of Boulder, Colo., and Bobbett Fisher of Boulder, Colo.; two stepbrothers Vernon McKimmey, of Lubac, Maine, and Marty McKimmey of Albany, Ga.; his stepsister Susan (Jim) Ramey of Fayetteville, Ark., and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
