Elmon L. "Bud" Ausmus, Sr., 82, of Bentonville, passed away March 18, 2022, in Bentonville. He was born April 14, 1939, in Allardt, Tenn., the son of Elmer Edgar and Pearl Irene Cadle Ausmus. Elmon was a Welder by trade, enjoyed working with leather and horses. He was a member of the Eastside Assembly of God Church in Bentonville and was a member of the Army National Guard. Preceded in death by his wife Amelia; son-in-law, Dave Musteen; his sister, Pauline Bunch. He is survived by his four children: Elmon Ausmus, Jr. and wife Pamela, Valorie Amerson, Phillip Ausmus, and wife Sarah, and Lisa Musteen; his siblings, Steve Ausmus, Ed "Ronnie" Ausmus, and Joyce Gann; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation: Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and services following at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
