Ben Brent Sr.

Ben Brent Sr., age 81, a resident of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at his home. He was born July 4, 1940, in Bradford, Ark., the son of Frank and Alma (Clark) Brent. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia Brent; and one son, Randall Dixon. Survivors include two sons, Ben Brent Jr. and his wife Becky of Newcastle, Okla., and Richard Dixon of Prairie Grove, Ark.; one daughter, Robyn Bell of Goodyear, Ariz.; five brothers, Ray Brent of Hope, Ark., Clarence Brent, Paul Brent, and Harvey Brent, all of Lewisville, Ark., and Marion Brent of Russellville, Ark.; two sisters, Ruth McCown of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Brenda Maddox of El Dorado, Ark.; two grandchildren, Jessica Bell and Devan Shelby-Brooks; one great-grandchild, Cristian Camargo; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, July 1, 2022, 6-7 p.m., at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark.
