Michael Harvey

Michael Harvey "Spud" born March 25, 1968, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Gary and Edith (Smith) Harvey and left this life May 28, 2022. He is survived by wife and best friend, Cheryl Leigh Harvey; daughter, Katelyn Williamson and husband, Trevor; stepsons, Adler Sexton and Alex Hayes "Megan" of Chicago; sister, Lisa Freeman and husband, Mark; their sons, Kyle and Kole; brother, Chris Harvey and wife, Michelle; their sons, Christopher and Cooper; a best friend, Paul Wahman; a dear friend, "Pops" Ancel Fry; and a beloved pup, CJ. Michael was employed at the family business Mountain Mechanical. He was a Christian man, a husband, a son, a father, an uncle, and friend to many. He loved horse races, fishing, being outdoors, and meeting new people. As he would always say, a stranger is a friend you haven't met yet. He will be missed dearly. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022, at First Baptist Church Fayetteville with Rev. Scott Reed officiating.
