James "Jim" Travis Shipley Sr

James "Jim" Travis Shipley, Sr., age 51, of Elkins, died Monday, January 10, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Phyllis Logue Shipley and five siblings. Jim is survived by his fiancée, Amanda Evans; children, Tara Shepherd (Dalton) and Travis Shipley; grandchildren, Raleigh, Laykyn, Noah, and Anakin; siblings, Carol Shipley, Eric Reece, and Gene Meyers. Jim retired from Washington County Sheriff's office after 22 years in law enforcement. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, running the Bar Crawl Express, repossessing cars with Hellanback Towing, being close friends at Fattys and being the biggest Jokester in the room! His greatest accomplishment was being Dad and Grandpa. Jim will be missed by all that knew him. Service: 11 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022, Westfield Chapel Funeral Home, 3236 W.
