Valerie Colene Bekebrede

Valerie Colene Bekebrede, age 63, of Fayetteville, Ark., loving wife, mother, and Nana, died on January 12, 2022, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born on September 3, 1958, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to James Franklin Ramsey and MaeZetta Munday Ramsey. She married Dan Bekebrede on August 9, 1986, in Springfield, Missouri, and together they built a life full of love and family. She was a long-time employee of The Breast Center in Fayetteville and a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church. During downtime she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, often taking the time to host all of them for cousin time. She loved taking care of others, always happy to cook or take care of those she loved. She and Dan made a second home at Table Rock Lake where the family spent many summer weekends enjoying time with one another. Valerie had a love of gardening and was always working on the yard. She has always been a light to all those around her and we will forever miss her love and light. She was preceded in death by her father, James Ramsey, and sister, Jane Etta Ramsey. Valerie is survived by her husband, Dan; four children, Jason Bekebrede and wife Leigh Babbit-Bekebrede of Springfield, Missouri, Keri Fultz and husband Derek Fultz of Fayetteville, Jessica Moyers and husband Stephen Moyers of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Matt Bekebrede and wife Stephana Bekebrede of Kimberling City, Missouri; THIRTEEN grandchildren; mother, MaeZetta Ramsey of Fayetteville; three siblings, two sisters-in-law and many friends. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Monday, January 17, 2022, at Saint John's Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint John's Lutheran Church, 2730 E.
