James Elbert "Jim" Searcy, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2022. Jim was born on January 14, 1946, to Elbert Searcy and Lucy Green (Searcy) Fisher in Garfield, Arkansas. He attended school in Bentonville and was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. He spent his career primarily as a printer, working for General Business Forms. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, and he also loved gardening. He was a member of the Arkansas National Guard for seven years, and a Master Mason, belonging to the Bentonville Masonic Lodge. He was a member of Catalyst Church in Bentonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Searcy and Lucy Fisher, and two sisters, Bonnie VanHook and Kathy McDaniel, and a granddaughter, Heather Williams. He is survived by his wife, Alice Searcy, two brothers, Richard Searcy and David Searcy, two daughters, Sheila Henderson of Pea Ridge, and Connie Olinde of Oak Point, Texas, a son, John Searcy of Rogers, granddaughters, Taryn Heflin, Kierstin Matheson, Melissa Yager, Stacy Marshall, Amber Templeton and Daisy Stover. He also has two grandsons, Tristen Searcy and Jeremy Williams, as well as several great-grandchildren. Service will be held at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, 605 W. Central Ave., Bentonville, Ark., 72712, on Friday, February 25, with visitation at 10 a.m., and funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Bentonville Cemetery. www.callisonloughfh.com
