Dwane Alan Maynard

Dwane Alan Maynard, 59, of Rogers, passed away on Nov. 29, 2022, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 7, 1963, in Bentonville to Jim and Deanna Wade Maynard. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1982 and attended the University of Arkansas, where he was a member of the Alpha Kappa Lambda Fraternity. After college, Dwane became a store manager for Walmart in Sebring, Fla. Eventually, he returned home to Rogers, where he managed Rent-A-Center for a number of years. Additionally, he worked for Cooper Communities in Bella Vista and Benton House Carpets. Dwane received his Arkansas Real Estate license in 1994 and remained active for many years until he left real estate to open his own home remodeling business. Dwane took great pride in his work and enjoyed spending quality time with his children, family, and friends. He was an animal lover who cherished his cats, Starsky and Hutch. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan, and he enjoyed going to amusement parks, traveling, fishing, and motorcycle riding. He was very competitive when it came to playing board games, electronic football, and video games. A minute never passed when he wasn't trying to make others laugh. He is preceded in death by his father; Jim Maynard, his stepfather - Michael Curtis Dial, and a brother; Curtis Wade Dial. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Ryan and husband Andrew; his stepdaughter Skie Pina; his mother Deanna Wade Dial, his siblings Wendi (Maynard) Jones and husband Mike, Michael Dial and wife Kindra, Michelle Humphries and husband Larry, Ashley Williams and husband Ed, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, at the Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the Rogers Humane Society on Dwane's behalf.
