Ronald Oscar Fowler, age 77, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022. He was born on October 25, 1944, in Blytheville, Ark., to Cecil and Eunice (Crawford) Fowler. He is a member of Central United Methodist Church. Ronald was an alumnus of The University of Arkansas and would later return to be employed in the Computing Services Department. Ronald was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, serving his country during the Vietnam War. He was a lover of running, biking, gardening, animals, and youth sports where he touched the lives of many through his coaching. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kay Fowler; two daughters, Lisa Fowler of Fayetteville and Shelley Fowler (Colin Kerr) of Fayetteville; one son, Kevin Fowler and his wife Katy of Fayetteville; his sister, Pam Lane of Blytheville, Ark., and four grandchildren, Eva, Noah, Dawson and Riley Fowler. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2022, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, at Central United Methodist Church with burial to follow at National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
