Ryan Luke Ervin, 24, of Springdale, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Luke was born in Fayetteville on February 21, 1998, to Jeff and Tonda (Phillips) Ervin. Luke was a 2016 graduate of Providence Christian Academy in Rogers and then attended Montana State University. He later graduated from Sheffield School of Aeronautics in Plantation, Florida, and became an FAA Certified Flight Dispatcher. Luke had a passion for both science and art and enjoyed going on hikes and being outdoors. He also had a love for a huge variety of subjects all the way from seahorses to the Toronto Raptors. He was exceptionally talented in visual arts, and he was totally unbeatable in Super Smash Brothers. Luke's name means light and that light shined through his kind-heartedness and the compassion he showed to everyone he met. Some of Luke's favorite times were spent with family, especially playing board games for hours. He had a fun-loving spirit and a quirky sense of humor. Luke is survived by his parents, Jeff and Tonda Ervin of Springdale, his brother, Drew Ervin and sister-in-law, Rebekah of Granbury, Texas, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and LuJeanne Ervin, and his maternal grandparents, Norman and Mary Ruth Phillips. Visitation will be on Monday, April 11, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. The celebration of life service will be on Tuesday, April 12, at 2 p.m., at Parthenon Baptist Church with BJ Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill. Pallbearers are Drew Ervin, Zach Nordin, Shane Reece, Blue Reece, and Doug and Tammy Vanderwaal. Honorary pallbearers are all his amazing cousins.
