Dixie Lee Culp

Dixie Box Culp, 74, of Lowell passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born June 24, 1947, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late William Edward Box and Bonnie Marie Barkley Box. She was also preceded by her son, Brett Culp. She retired after enjoying a long career with the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas. She enjoyed gourmet cooking, traveling, and reading. She was a Member of Crystal Bridges Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts-Houston. Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 60 years, James Culp; her son, Bart Culp, and daughter in-law, Renee Culp, of California; her sister, Bowilla Walker, and brother in-law, Donnie Walker, of Alabama; four grandchildren, Jordan, David, Casey, and James,; five great-grandchildren, David, Kylie, Camden, Jaymes, and Jackson; numerous extended family members and dear friends.
