Brian J. Gegen

Brian J. Gegen, 60, of West Fork, passed away on July 18, 2021. He was born on February 23, 1961, in Wichita, Kansas to Aloysius and Opal Gegen. Brian worked as a construction superintendent. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to everyone. He worked hard everyday to take care of his family. He never met a stranger and would give his last dollar to someone in need. His love of nature was apparent in the making of the Gegen homestead. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Bill Gegen. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Gegen; two daughters, Shawn Zimmer and Heather Zimmer; three brothers, Gary Gegen and his wife, Mary Ann, Richard Gegen, and Kevin Gegen and wife, Elaine; three sisters, Janet Beyrle and husband, Jerry, Lois Graham and husband, Bob, and Deann Gegen; and five grandchildren, Dylon Garrison, Jazmine Grogan, Braxton Dixon, Rylee Zimmer, and Reality Dixon. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 3 p.m. at the Gegen Residence at 14734 Parker Branch Road, West Fork, Ark. 72774. In lieu of flowers, please send living plants/trees.
