Ronald L. Subbert

Ronald Lester Subbert, of Rogers, went to be with the Lord September 2, 2020. He was born April 21, 1947, in Frankfort, Illinois, to the late Lester Carl and Ruby May Subbert. Ron was an active member of the Apple Blossom Retirement community in Rogers, where he has lived for just a few months. Ron enjoyed spending time with the WII bowling, balloon volleyball, bingo and other community activities. Ron really enjoyed his WWE wrestling, his nephews will always remember when they were kids going to spend the night and how he would sit on the edge of his chair as if he was wrestling and even on the floor in front of the TV. Ron served in the US Navy when he was young. Preceded in death by his parents, and son, Jeffrey Allen Subbert. Ron is survived by his brother, Barry Lynn and his wife, Kay Subbert of Rogers; daughter, Kimberly Subbert of Marysville, Kan.; grandchildren, Allen Scherrer and Christina Scherrer, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Bree Conlin, of Glasco, Kan.; nieces and nephews, Christine Marie Fite (Bo) of Pineville, Mo., Christina Jannette Nelson (James) of Bentonville, Sean Michael Porter (Tori) of Springdale, Deric Lynn Subbert (Christel) of Centerton, Michael Paul Subbert (Becca) of Bentonville; 21 great-nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; and one great-great nephew.
