Lon Raymond Netherton

Lon Raymond Netherton, 79, of Springdale, passed away on September 23, 2020, at WRMC in Fayetteville. He was born December 8, 1940, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Earl and Villa Netherton. Lon attended Springdale Schools and the University of Arkansas and was a member of Cross Church Springdale. Lon spent most of his career in sales and the transportation industry. He enjoyed classic automobiles and attending car shows. He loved movies and would go to a movie any chance he could get. Lon had a great fondness for having fun in life, his wonderful laugh and special brand of storytelling will be greatly missed. Lon is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, and son, Mark Netherton. Lon is lovingly remembered by his wife, MaryJane Netherton; son, Mike Netherton, wife, Sharon from Springdale; daughter, Michelle Johns, husband, Billy of Springdale; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
