Minnie Lou Casey

Minnie Lou (Ludie) Casey, age 94, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born November 12, 1925, in Clarksville, to James Robert and Mary Compton Jarnagin. She married T.D. Casey in 1957 and they resided in Russellville until her husband passed away in 2003. Ludie retired after 30 years working in the ROTC department at Arkansas Tech University. She then moved to Fayetteville and lived at Butterfield Trail Retirement Village to be closer to family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, T.D. Casey; five brothers, Robert, Sammy, Dolan, David, and Billie Jarnagin; and a sister Becky Jarnagin. Ludie is survived by her niece that was like a daughter, Beth Colvard Nordin, as well as Zach and Lexi Nordin that she lovingly called her "grandchildren". The graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
