Sharon Kay Augustine

Sharon Kay Augustine, age 76, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020. She was born on March 11, 1944, in Cabool, Missouri, to Wilburn and Johnsie (Gillette) Dean. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband and father of her children, Jerry Welch; her husband, Daniel Augustine; and her granddaughter, Rachel Welch. Sharon was a hard worker. At one point she held down four jobs while attending night school working towards a business degree. She spent more than fifteen years working at the jewelry counter at Montgomery Ward department store where she developed many lasting relationships. She was famous for her "reversed dinners" where dessert would occur before the meal. Most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her four children, Shanna Kimball and husband Jimmy of West Fork, Jerry Welch and wife Jill of Joplin, Missouri, Rhonda Duncan and husband Tim of Stella, Missouri, and Garrett Welch and wife Lori of Fayetteville; two sisters, Madeline Cardin and Madie Spence; one brother, Charles Dean; eleven grandchildren, Jessica Kimball, Sara (Bo) Ketcher, Ethan Kimball, Alicia (Garrett) Daniel, Braedon Welch, Dillon Welch, Eric Welch, Ryan Welch, Whitney (Joe) Eckrich, Courtney Duncan and Hanna Duncan; and two great-grandchildren, Rhett Ketcher and Keenan McNally.
