Pauline "Polly" R. Harrison

Pauline "Polly" R. Harrison, age 94, much loved wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandma and great-grandma of Rogers passed away Monday November 23, 2020. She was born May 7, 1926 in Manchester, New Hampshire to Arthur and Cora Allard Raymond. Polly married the love of her life on May 10, 1947 and she and "Bobby" were married for 56 years before his passing. The family moved to Florida in 1961, and Bob and Polly retired to The Villages in 1991. She relocated to Rogers in 2018. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harrison; her parents Cora (nee Allard) and Arthur Raymond, siblings Lucille Smit, Lucien Raymond, Lorraine Simons, Maurice Raymond, Marguerite Gendron, Francois Raymond, Germaine Raymond, Claire Raymond and Armand Raymond. She retired from AT&T after 20 years, having started with Southern Bell in south Florida. Playing bridge was her favorite thing to do for many, many years. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Jay of Cave Springs, Ark.; three sons, Bruce Harrison and his wife Shirley of Houston, Texas, Bill Harrison and his wife Cindy of Gainesville, Fla., David Harrison of Flagler Beach, Fla.; one sister, Jeanne Johnson of Manchester, New Hampshire; brother, Richard Raymond of Manchester, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren: Brandon Jay, Ashley Peoples, Christopher Harrison, Adrienne Harrison, Jennifer Yates, Dave Harrison, Tom Harrison, Brittany Harrison; six great-grandchildren: Braden Jay, Brock Jay, Brett Jay, Addison Peoples, Brody Peoples and Adelina Harrison; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Innisfree for loving and caring for her the past ten months, and a very special thanks to the amazing folks with Circle of Life Hospice – words cannot express our gratitude for all they did for Polly! Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark. There will be a celebration of life service planned for a later time.
