Nadine (Hardin) Hitt passed away on the 26th of November 2020 in Rogers, Ark. Nadine was born on June 22, 1926 to Frank and Gladys Hardin in Carmago, Okla. Later on, they moved to Texas and ran a successful grain elevator business. When Nadine was 13, her father unexpectedly died lifting a railroad tie. Following this tragedy, she and her mother formed a strong bond that they shared for the rest of their lives. Nadine is a graduate of Spearman High School, class of 1943. During WW II, Nadine exchanged letters with J.T Hitt, and they got married when he returned home from his military service. During their 63 year marriage, they moved to Arkansas, ran movie theaters, shared hunting trips to Colorado, went "junkin" (for the fleamarket) and raised two children, Travis and Cindy in Bentonville. Nadine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She grew up wanting to be a homemaker and provided her family with many treasured memories. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents (Frank & Gladys Hardin), brother (Verlan Hardin), husband (J.T. Hitt), children, (Jay Travis Hitt and Cindy Lea (Hitt) McCurry), and grandson (Dustin Phillips). She is survived by her son-in-law, Bob McCurry, five grandchildren, Jett Hitt (Carrie), Todd Phillips, Brett Humbard (Jim), Charles Hitt and Tara Iuso (Billy). Also by three great-grandchildren, Brayden Turner, Aria and Billy Iuso. Due to Covid Restrictions the family will hold services at a later date.
