Sara Ed Lumbert

Sara Ed Lumbert, 95, of Hindsville, Ark., passed away Monday, November 9, 2020, in Springdale. She was born December 3, 1924, in Ft. Smith, Ark., to Bascom L. (B.L.) and Matha Hiner Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harvey Dean (H.D.) Lumbert. Sara is survived by daughters, Gwen Hart and husband Mike of Benton, Ark., Carol Agana and husband John of Fayetteville, Ark., Barbara Rukgaber and husband Albert of Hindsville, Ark., and Alysen W. Land of Eureka Springs, Ark; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Private interment will take place in the Ft. Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Beard's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Arkansas, Office of Giving/Nursing Ghana Project.
