Linda Jean Maienschein

Linda Jean Maienschein, age 77, Bentonville, formerly of Bella Vista, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020, while surrounded by her closest family. Linda was a graduate of Drury College in 1966, with a bachelor's degree in education. Linda and Terry met at Drury College in Springfield, Mo., and were married in July 1967, in Chicago, Illinois. They moved to Bella Vista, as one of the youngest residents in 1969, when they city's population was just 200. Her life of community service began shortly thereafter and continued until her death. Preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her college sweetheart and husband of 53 years, Terry; son Logan, his wife Krystyl and their five children: Andrew, Jackson, Layton, Noah, and Tori: brother, Dan and his wife, Suzanne; sister Patty Leavitt, her husband Tom and their two children, Brook and Paige. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made in Linda's name to your choice of organizations. Some of Linda's favorites were CASA of Northwest Arkansas, Single Parent Scholarships, Benton County Literacy Council, Circle of Life Hospice Bentonville.
