Cindy L. Blanks

Cindy L. Blanks, 61, of Springdale passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born July 30, 1958 in Caney, Kansas to Walter B. Galbraith and Lavonna Burke Galbraith and stepfather, Wayne McGaugh. She worked at the Walmart Optical Lab in Fayetteville. She enjoyed camping and her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Blanks; two brothers, Carl Galbraith and Clay Galbraith and one sister, Cathy Clark. Survivors include one son, Joseph Reed Blanks Sr. and wife Christina of Springdale; one daughter, Lora Blanks and fiance' Marcellius of Springdale; three brothers, Clyde Galbraith of San Antonio, Texas, Dennis Galbraith and wife Thresa of Fayetteville and David Galbraith of Goshen; three sisters, Carolyn Timcoe of Georgia, Cheryl Miller of Copan, Okla. and Celia Taylor and husband Terry of Dewey, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Cemetery in Springdale. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
