Anna Jean Yates

Anna Jean Yates beloved wife, mother and friend went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2020. She was a caring and loving woman and who will be missed by her family and friends. Anna was a devout Christian happily married to her high school sweetheart, Dennison, for 48 wonderful years until his death in 2012. Anna moved to Bella Vista in 1995 from Little Rock, Arkansas, spending several years tutoring migrant children in Benton County, where many students and their parents appreciated her efforts. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Dennison Fulton Yates, Jr. and her parents Flora Belle Poe (nee Halley) and William Eugene Poe. She is survived by daughter Deanna Jones and her husband Russ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, William Arthur Poe of Eureka Springs, and Danny W. Holmes, her companion of recent years. Anna passed at home in Bella Vista after a difficult recovery from surgery in the care of her granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Hallermann.
