Mark Edward Dickerson

Mark Edward Dickerson, age 66, of Rogers died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center located in Rogers. He was born April 18, 1954, at Mather Air Force Base, California. It was an Easter Sunday. He attended public school and almost always joined the local Boy Scout Troop. He enjoyed visiting and going fishing with his grandmother in Erie, Kansas. On June 18, 1983, Mark and Teri Lawson were united in marriage. To this union were born daughters Julie Nicole and Sarah Kathleen. Julie died in childbirth July 3, 2014. Julie left Mark two granddaughters – Wren and Emery. Mark worked with Walmart in their I.T. Department for many years. He also worked later in life for Chili's Corp. Mark enjoyed his boat on Beaver Lake and live, local music and his two dogs. He was preceded in death by his father Lt. Col. Aaron E. Dickerson, his wife Christine, his daughter Julie and adopted parents Fred and Maye Hiett. Mark is survived by his daughter Sarah Wooten of Rogers, his mother, Kathleen Dickerson of Rogers, his son Christopher Dickerson of Rogers and three granddaughters: Wren and Emery Petree and Maggie Wooten of Rogers. A celebration of Mark's life will be announced at a later date by the family. Memorials may be sent to the Rogers Historical Museum of Rogers, Arkansas or Happy Rackensackers No. 906 of Questers of which Mark was an active member.
