Vida Jordan

Vida Jane Jordan, 85, of Wesley; died Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Huntsville. She was born August 29, 1934, at Combs; to Newburn and Laura Lackey Napier. Vida married Earl Lavon Jordan on Saturday, July 5, 1952; at Huntsville. They were married for 67 years and were parents to one son. Vida was a homemaker and a member of Upper Smyrna Full Gospel Church. She was a Sunday school teacher for 21 years. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers; and dearly loved her grandchildren. Vida was predeceased her parents, two sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Earl of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Lioneld and Diane Jordan of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Vida will be in-state on Friday, March 20, 2020. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2020, at Brashears Funeral Home with Glen Faulkner, Johnny Case, and Johnny McKinnley officiating. Pallbearers will be Lioneld Jordan, John Jordan, Stanley Phillips, John Ryan, Dan Morgan, and Aaron Jasso. Interment will immediately follow services at Ogden Cemetery, Witter. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
