Ralph Dennis Cole

On Wednesday, April 15th, 2020, Ralph Dennis Cole passed away at the age of 75 in Bentonville, Ark. He was born on January 24th, 1945 to Ruth and Keith Cole in Casper Wyoming. He spent his school years in Columbia City, IN with his grandparents Ralph and Bessie Cole. He joined the US Air Force after high school in 1962 as an Air Traffic Controller. He served two tours in Vietnam. Ralph studied Geology at Oregon State University and became a mud engineer working in the oil field in Lake Charles, LA. He taught himself computer programming in the 80s and worked on numerous projects over the next 20 years from banking to the tv program Star Trek. Ralph met his wife Cecelia McDermott while in the mud engineering course and the two were married in 1982. They raised one daughter, Laura Marlee Cole, and two sons, Dennis Edward Cole and Jeffrey Brandon Cole. Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Keith, his mother, Ruth, his brother Tracey, and his wife, Cecelia. He is survived by his three children, Laura, Dennis, and Jeffrey; four grandchildren, Davin, Fiona, Grace, and Cailyx, and several cousins.
