Leola G Wilkerson

Leola Grace Wilkerson, 92, passed on July 27, 2020, in Bentonville. She was born on January 5, 1928, in Miltonvale, Kan., to the late Everett and Ella (Anderson) Ewer. She moved with her family to Colorado Springs where she met and married her husband of 63 years, the late Guy J. Wilkerson. She retired from The Bank of Bentonville after many years of service. She was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville. She belonged to the United Methodist Women and enjoyed volunteering in her church and her community. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. Leola liked to stay busy and had a smile for everyone she met. Leola was preceded in death by her husband, Guy, and sister, Alice Widdifield. She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Wilkerson of Tennessee, Merlin Wilkerson and wife, Cindy of Texas; four grandchildren (Jake, Billy, Emily and Mason); and sister, Geneva Dimond of Colorado.
