James Larry House

James Larry House, 62, of Springdale, Ark., died Sunday, July 19th, 2020. He was born August 11, 1957, in Marshall, Ark., the son of Edward and Willa Faye Smith House. He lived the majority of his life in Springdale with brief times spent in other places. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He owned and operated his own business and worked as an electrician for many years. Larry was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church serving on the Board of Trustees, as usher, and Building Committee member. He was known to many children at Salem's school as "Mr. Fixit". Larry considered his family, his church family, and his friends to be his greatest wealth. Larry is survived by his wife, Nelva, of 30 years; one son, Joey; one sister and brother-n-law Trish and David Tankersley; nephew, David Stafford, whom Larry raised as his own; many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Visitation: Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 5-7 p.m., Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. Service: 11 a.m., Thursday, July 23rd, 2020, Salem Lutheran Church 1800 W.
