Arles Dean Eldridge

Arles Dean Eldridge, resident of Colcord, Okla., passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Ark., at the age of 83. He was born in Harmon, Ark., to Clifford and Eula Eldridge. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Karen Eldridge of the home. He has four children, Barbara Eldridge of Springdale, Carl Eldridge and wife Kathy of Colcord, Okla., Judy Foster and husband Doug of Marble, Shirley Heflin and husband Ray of Springdale, and two step-children, Becky Lange and husband Vladimir of South Bend, Ind., and Joseph Hawk of Siloam Springs. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers Johnny Eldridge and wife Jamie and Earnest Eldridge and wife Nadine both of Springdale. Arles is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mertie Roberts Jones and Winnie Thomas. He was such a loving husband, dad, brother, grandpa, and friend. He drove for Jones Truck Lines for around 23 years. He enjoyed his years of truck driving and loved spending time with his mules and going on wagon rides. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 from noon-1 p.m., at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
