Michael Jay Rice

Michael Jay Rice, age 56, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was born June 26, 1964 in Paris, Arkansas, the son of Sam and Martha Lensing Rice. He was a small business owner. Mike loved his family, taking trips to the beach and his pups. He was preceded in death by his parents. He attended Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. He is survived by his wife Julia Rice; two sons Alex Rice of Dallas and Benjamin Haddock of Fayetteville; two daughters, Erika Curiel and her husband Johnny of Cave Springs and Lillie Haddock of Fayetteville; a grandson, Henry Curiel and two cousins, Darian Layes and Steve Layes. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. -7 p.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral Mass will be 12 noon Saturday at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
