Sherrie Coy

Sherrie Lyne Coy, 60, of Berryville; passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, in Springdale. She was born Saturday, March 28, 1959, in Fayetteville; to Erville and Norma Duncan Stout. Sherrie married Lynn E. Coy in Eureka Springs on September 23, 1989. She loved her family and really enjoyed spoiling her children and grandchildren. Sherrie was a devoted christian and attended Regular Harmony Baptist Church. Sherrie was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, she also enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, genealogy, and time with her family. Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Lynn Coy of the home; one son, Eric Parsons of Berryville; two daughters, Jodie DeMeyer of Green Forest; and Lauren Coy of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Justin McCoy of Huntsville; two sisters, Sandy Kisor of Fayetteville; and Marsha Kitterman of Springdale; seven grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Brashears Funeral Home with Jim Duncan officiating. Pallbearers will be Eric Parsons, Eric DeMeyer, Isaac DeMeyer, Justin McCoy, Danny Warren, and Donnie Warren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kyle Hayes, Joe Kitterman, Tom Scott, and Pat Mara. Interment will immediately follow services at Drakes Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association as tribute to Sherrie. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
