Hugh Wayne Garman

Hugh "Wayne" Garman, 96, of Gravette died Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born the son of Elmer and Lucy Garman on November 8, 1923 in Gravette. Wayne was a lifetime resident of Gravette and enjoyed tractors. He retired in 2014 from Gravette Medical Center. When Wayne wasn't keeping himself busy and helping others he enjoyed drinking coffee at Austin's Drug Store. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Garman in 2000, three brothers and three sisters. Wayne is survived by two daughters, Linda Cummings and her husband Damon of Gravette, Patty Heckman of Gravette; four grandchildren, one great-grandson and a host of friends and family. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Epting Funeral Home of Gravette. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 20 at First Assembly of God Church in Gravette with Pastor Jack Deaton officiating, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
