Dannie Carlene Jordan-Warford

Dannie Jordan-Warford, 80, of Elkins went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born September 5, 1939 in Pryor, Okla. to Carl H. Jordan and Dorothy Crow-Jordan. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hubert Jordan; niece, Penny Jordan and grandson, Seth Warford. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Don Warford of the home; two sons, Rusty Warford and wife Linda of Greenland and Randy Warford of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Joseph Warford of Greenland, Jennifer Pettus and husband Kent of Greenland, Janet Taylor and husband Larry of Siloam Springs, Lindsey Tabb and husband Logan of Bella Vista and Rodney Warford and wife Keri of Farmington; sister, Judy Pilant and husband Frank of Pryor, Okla.; brother, Buddy Jordan and wife Joyce of Pryor, Okla., 17 great-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; and several other family members and friends. Dannie's first love was her Lord, Jesus Christ. OH! how she loved her sons and grandchildren and later in life great grandchildren. She worked hard to make all the family happy. She was the peacemaker of the family. She served her Lord as Pastor's wife for 60 years (she never complained in public) and always prayed for the churches. She worked for Arkansas DHS for 20 plus years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church where Don is Pastor. A funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday January 17, 2020 at Ridgeview Baptist Church with Pastor Don Seigler officiating.
