Betty Lou Deen

Betty Lou Deen, 87, of Springdale passed away Monday, January 12, 2020 in Springdale. She was born August 20, 1932 in Avoca, Arkansas to Arthur and Chelsea Hoskins Welborn. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for over 34 years. She enjoyed listening to gospel hymns, playing the piano and drinking coffee. She loved her four dogs: Punkin, Cindy, Gretchen, and Taffy. She also loved to talk. She was a member of the Elmdale Baptist Church in Springdale. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Weldon Homer Deen. Survivors include two sisters, Ollie and Berna and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12 noon at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.
