Mary Helen Hill

Mary Helen Hill, 93, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord January 10, 2020. She was born January 16, 1926 in Slater M0., the daughter of the late Ben and Gertrude Gibbons Wood. Mary loved ball room and square dancing, cooking and most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Benny Wood, Jr. and LeRoy Wood and her sister, Cleo Yowell. Mary is survived by her husband of 74 years, Marvin Hill of the home; son, Gary Wayne Hill of Wheeler, Ark.; sister, Carolyn May Higgs and husband Mike of Fayetteville, Ark.; grandchildren, Adam, Wesley, Stephanie and Scott; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Alexia, Namiya, Tyler, Jaccob and Alexander, and a host of friends. Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Fayetteville National Cemetery 700 Government Avenue, Fayetteville, Ark., 72701 under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Ark., 72762.
