Madelaine Lucine "Cindy" Rambo, age 66, of Springdale, died Thursday, January 9, 2020. Cindy was born October 25, 1953 in Bastrop, La., to Carl and Madge Livingston. She is survived by her husband, Don Rambo, a daughter, Robin Rambo, a granddaughter, Alissa Miller (Blake Williams), a great-granddaughter, Lucy Dawn Williams, and her brother, Dr. Richard Livingston (Elizabeth). Cindy was so full of love and the desire to help others. She married the love of her life, Don Rambo, on August 20, 1971, and was a devoted wife to him for 48 years. Cindy adored her role as mother to daughter, Robin, and cherished her close relationship with her granddaughter, Alissa. Cindy's desire to help others was also evident in her career choice; she was a nurse for over 30 years where she positively impacted hundreds of lives. In addition to her love of people, Cindy had a special love for animals and adopted many fur babies throughout her life. Most recently, she had her dogs, Ginger and Pepper, her cat Pippa, and two birds, Sunshine and Bugsy. Cindy was also a frequent visitor to and supporter of a local animal shelter, House of Little Dogs. Cindy's love extended to so many family, friends, and animals. If you were lucky enough to have known her, then you were lucky enough to have been truly loved. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2pm at Westfield Chapel (3236 W Huntsville Ave, Springdale, Ark.). Donations can be made in Cindy's honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Association or to House of Little Dogs (Fayetteville, Ark.). Online condolences can be made at www.WestfieldChapel.com.
