George Melroy Bagwell

George Melroy Bagwell Sr., 92, of Springdale, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 18, in Springdale. He was born June 25, 1927 in Spring Valley, Arkansas the son of Charles and Edith Nelson Bagwell. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David Bagwell. Survived by his wife, Maggie Phillips Bagwell of the home; four sons, Duane and Brenda Grigg Bagwell, James Bagwell, George Jr. and Shirley Wright Bagwell, Paul and Connie Puryear Bagwell; two daughters, Donna and Don Burke, Beth Farmer; one brother, Rev. Eldon Bagwell; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday February 22, 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church Hindsville with Rev. Eldon Bagwell and Rev. David Watson officiating, interment to follow at Burkshed Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 5 to 7 p.m. at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale.
