Charles Rhodes

Charles Lawrence Rhodes, 68, of Elkins, died Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born Tuesday, February 12, 1952, at Dallas, Texas, to Charles Foster and Beatrice Barbara Blanchard Rhodes. Charles married Elaine Dixon on Saturday, March 15, 2003, in North Carolina, and was father to five children. He was a retired Sergeant First Class for the United States Army where he served his country for sixteen years. He loved God, his family, and his country. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles; one brother, David; and one daughter, Kristen. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one son, Charles; three daughters, Kate, Anne, and Layla; his mother, Barbara; and three grandchildren, Shade, Seven and Chloe. Private interment will take place at Drakes Creek Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
