Jimmy Ray Elliott

Jimmy Ray Elliott, 72, of Rogers, passed away December 6, 2020, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born September 13, 1948, in Bentonville, the son of David Max and Bobby Nail Elliott. Jimmy served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. His career was in Silicon Valley in the Sunnyvale, California area with a career in inventory management. Jimmy and his brothers spent their summers in Arkansas where they played on the Rogers baseball team. His Dad was assistant coach. During his adult life in Sunnyvale, Calif., he played softball and travel to out-of-state tournaments with his brothers. He was also an avid golfer. When he returned to Arkansas in the summer he would often fish the Kings River while in California he finished the Delta. He is preceded in death by his father, David Max Elliott and his wife Charlotte Stroud Elliott, his mother, Bobby Nail Keen and her husband Denver Keen. Siblings, Wayne Tarver, David and Russell Elliott, grandparents, Omer David Elliott and Lola May Cooper Elliott and Russell Nail and Juanita Cox Nail. He is survived by his siblings Robert and his wife Sally Keen of Clovis California and Tonnie, husband Russell Ruttan of Rogers. He is also survived by nephew Brian Ruttan and wife Marla of Bella Vista, nephew Jeremy Ruttan and wife Kimberly of Garfield, nephew Jason Ruttan and wife Kristine, of Charleston, South Carolina, niece Kailey Keen and nephew Philip Elliott of California. Niece Robin and husband Jamie Rounds, Garfield, Arkansas and niece Traci and Dan Hill of Joplin, Mo. Numerous great nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life in the Spring.
