Heather Ann Akiyoshi

Heather Ann Akiyoshi, 53, recently of Bentonville and long-time resident of Arlington Heights, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020. Heather was born December 2, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, to James Patrick McCann Sr. and Sharon Marie Czarnota who survive. Other survivors include her daughters, Reiko Behlke (Nate) and Kiarra Akiyoshi; her siblings, Jimmy, Patti (Andy), Kristin, and Eric (Bev); her fiancé, Emilio Fabico; numerous extended family members and dear friends. Heather recently retired after 30 years as an elementary library media specialist and classroom teacher before relocating to NWA in May. She was preceded by her grandparents, Harry and Esther McCann and Edward and Sophie Czarnota. Private family services are being held before interment in Palatine, Illinois.
