William Douglas Timmons, 58, of Springdale, Ark., passed away December 4, 2020 in Fayetteville, Ark., surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. He was born September 4, 1962 in Texarkana, Texas to Earl Ray, Sr. and Wilma Bernice Timmons. Doug was of the Baptist faith and had served in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren and giving back to the community. He was a 1981 graduate of Springdale High school and had worked for Wal-Mart and Sam's Club for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Lois Harris and his brother, Earl Ray Timmons, Jr. Doug is survived by his wife, Delita Timmons, of the home his children: Shane Timmons, Hollie Timmons, Samantha Timmons, and Liberty Wagner; two grandchildren: McKenzie Timmons and J.J. Crabtree; his siblings: Crystal Harris and husband, Chip, of Lafayette, La.; Carol Gamble of Westville, Okla.; Elaine Bayles and husband, Allen, of Cave City, Ark.; Matthew Timmons of Decatur, Ark.; Jim Timmons and wife, Roberta, of Siloam Springs, Ark. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Ark., 72762.
