Marilyn Sue Leep

Marilyn Sue Leep, 72, of Gravette, Ark., passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. Marilyn was born on December 27, 1947, in Joplin, Mo. She was a daughter of Jesse Dale Leep and Audrey Jeanette Points Leep. She grew up and spent most of her life in the Springdale area. She worked as a caregiver most of her life including working for the Area Council on Aging in Russellville, as well as working for the Allen's Canning Company. Marilyn had a heart of gold and was a very caring person. She loved and focused on her family especially her grandchildren, she loved her dogs and enjoyed being outdoors. She is survived by one son, Charles Leep of the home; one daughter, Audrey Pohl of the home; one brother, Dallas Leep of Springdale; one sister, Deborah Baker and partner Ed Eitten of Avoca; seven grandchildren including Johnathan Pullen whom she raised; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Harley Dale Pullen; one sister, Elizabeth Dennis; and two brothers, Freddie Leep and John David Leep. A Memorial Service will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Springdale on Friday, December 11, 2020, at 1 p.m. Pastor Charlie Foster will officiate the service.
