Sidney Argus Griffith

Sidney Argus Griffith, 86, of Springdale, passed away on December 7, 2020, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born on January 12, 1933, in Clarksville, to Harrison D. and Nora Belle Griffith. Sidney booked Gospel Acts to come to Springdale, to perform and loved to tell the story of meeting Johnny Cash and having coke and crackers on Cash's tour bus. He owned Griffith Motors in Springdale. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Candy Ford. Survivors include his wife, Imogene Griffith of the home; one daughter, Gwen Griffith of Springdale; one sister, Georgie Royce of Colo; three grandchildren, Ryan Moshtagh of St. Louis, Mo., Chrystal Ford of Bella Vista, and Caleb Ford of Texas, and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 10 a.m., at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Online condolences can be left at siscofuneral.com
