Mason Parker Stevens, age 6, of Little Flock received his angel wings on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Arkansas Children's Hospital located in Little Rock. He was born October 18, 2013 in Bentonville and is the son of Zach and JoAnn Stevens. He recently started kindergarten at Russell Jones Elementary School and had spent the previous 5 years at Sunshine School & Development Center. He enjoyed playing with ferris wheels, his toy kitchen, loved spending time in the water, and watching Elmo's World. He was preceded in death by his cousin Mackenzie McCarthy. Mason is survived by his parents; Zach and JoAnn Stevens, of Little Flock; one brother, Ethan Tanner Stevens, of Little Flock; his great-grandmother, Jackie Dykes of Hot Springs, Ark.; his grandparents, John and Vicky Stevens of Hot Springs, Ark., Dave and Kathy Carpenter of Watervliet, N.Y., and James Izzo of Bennington, Vt. He is also survived by his loving aunts Jennifer (Matt) Richardson of Ashdown, Ark.; Charlene (Nicholas) Prince of Nashville, Tenn.; and Ashley Carpenter of Fredericksburg, Va., and many other family members who he loved so much. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-3 p.m. at First Baptist Rogers "Olive Street Location." A celebration of Mason's life will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Rogers "Olive Street Location" with Pastor Dawn Spragg officiating. Interment will follow at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens located in Rogers. Pallbearers will be Ethan Stevens, Trent Hunter, Matt Murphy, Matt Richardson and Dean Bailey. The family would like to give special thanks to the first responders with Little Flock Police & Fire Department; Rogers Fire Department; and the doctors, nurses and staff at Northwest Medical Center and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
