Diane Lynn Shastid

Diane Lynn Shastid (65) passed away August 25, 2020, at her home in Rogers, Ark. Diane was born in Fallbrook, Calif., on January 23, 1955, to Ray Bonser and Cherry Bonser (South). Her parents preceded her in death. Diane is survived by her husband of 29 years, Dale Shastid; and her sister, Rae Ann Haak (Bonser). She was an adored mom to her four children, Andrew Albers, Ray Shastid, Carrie Shastid and Michael Shastid, as well as a beloved "memaw" to her five grandchildren--Alexis, Colby, Cassie, Jacob & Taylor. Diane graduated Orange High School (CA) in 1973 and started working full-time while raising her family. Diane and her family eventually moved to Arkansas in 1991. Diane worked and cherished her job for the city of Bentonville for 26 years, retiring in 2017. Diane loved Disneyland from her many visits with friends and family while living in California, with Mickey Mouse being a standard around the house for decorations. Diane loved her family the most, planning numerous family gatherings, birthday events for family and friends, and holidays to ensure everyone came together. She became a mom to everyone she came in contact with. Her smile and laughs in everything she did were contagious. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 28 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Callision-Lough, with the burial to follow in Bentonville Cemetery.
