Dorothy Hammons

Dorothy G. Hammons, age 80, of Farmington, died Saturday, August 8, 2020, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born September 26, 1939 in Missouri. Dorothy devoted her time making the ones closest to her laugh and smile. She loved fishing, working for Walmart, and watching her grandkids grow. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Robert Sutton of Farmington and Timothy Sutton of Kingston; her daughter, Sherri Johnson of Farmington; three grandchildren, Anthony Sutton of Farmington, Derek Sutton and his wife, Jennifer, of Farmington, and Matthew Sutton of Texas; as well as two great-grandchildren, Zarea and Keegan Sutton. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sanford Sutton; and later her husband, Bobby Hammons. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Moore's Chapel, in Fayetteville. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
