Robert Dale ‘Bob' Taylor, 89, of Farmington, Arkansas passed from this earth into the Arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at his home. Mr. Taylor was born in Tate, Arkansas on May 7, 1930 to Thomas Elijah and Maude Tucker Taylor. Bob's beloved wife Beulah Fern (Ball) Taylor preceded him in death on May 12, 2019. Their marriage was blessed with 61 years of love. Mr. Taylor is survived by his son, Robert Dale Taylor. Three grandsons, Derek Dale Taylor of Farmington, Brent Nicolas Taylor of Springfield, Tenn. and Kody Tristan Taylor of Smyrna, Ga. Mr. Taylor is predeceased by his parents as well as his sister Pansy Plummer of Waldron Ark., and brothers which include Henry Taylor who passed in WWII in France, Glen Taylor, Springdale, Ark. and Wendell Taylor of Rockdale Texas. Bob Taylor lived his life with fervor and good will. He went after everything he did determined to work hard, take care of his family and serve the Lord. He had a scripture ready anytime. He graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1948. Bob attended the University of Arkansas for a short time. Then he joined the Army and was flown to Seattle Washington. From there he was shipped to the Korean Conflict on the 38th Parallel. He saw things that would affect him his entire life. There is no atheist in the foxhole he would say many times. Bob Taylor worked for College Club Diary early on. Then went on to work for Ozarks Electric in Fayetteville for over thirty years and retired from there. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Wherever Bob was there was fun along with the work. Bob attended church at Mount Vernon Missionary Church. His Elder Tom Lundstrum was a blessed friend as well as scholar of the Bible. Bob's church family meant the world to him. He and Fern brought the Bible Study to their home on Wednesday nights. Bob and Fern were a power couple because they worshipped the Lord together. Mr. Taylor will be buried next to the love of his life, Fern, in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Fayetteville by Beard's Funeral Chapel. No services are planned.
