Thomas Bradley ‘Brad' Goldsborough, born on May 7, 1962, in Joliet, Ill., passed from this life on March 26, 2020, at the age of 57. Brad lived most of his life in the Kansas City, Mo., metro area. He worked the majority of his life in hospitality. Brad could connect with anyone and everyone because he genuinely cared. He wanted to know you, to call you by your name, to create an experience no matter how brief the interaction. He always had the mindset of we're all human so we always have at least one thing in common. Brad was a devoted father, son, brother and friend. His proudest role was as a father and he loved his children immensely. At his core Brad was an artist. He was an avid poet and painter and a truly talented musician skilled in guitar, piano and his personal favorite, the drums. Brad was a gifted singer/ songwriter and always looked forward to recording and performing whenever the opportunity arose. He was in many bands throughout the years and has written a catalog of music that spans the decades. Brad was a loving, big-hearted person who spread joy wherever he went. He placed a higher priority on helping others over himself. Everyone who knew him has a "Brad story", if not a plethora, to share. He always left an impression. Brad was filled with love for his family, love of his fellow persons, love of music, especially rock and folk, and with love for his Creator and the Creation around him. Brad is survived by his children Sean Jackson (19) and TJ Hunter (18) Goldsborough; his siblings Greg, Justin and Tara Goldsborough; his father, Thomas Goldsborough and stepmother, Amanda Goldsborough and his stepmother, Cloene Davis. He is preceded in death by his mother LouAnn Wright, his stepfather, mama, papa, granddaddy, grandmother, uncles, aunt and cousin. A celebration of his life, given the current climate, will be scheduled at a later date. Feel free to follow any of the aforementioned family members on social media for updates. If you wish, the family asks that you please make a donation in Brad's name to The Roots of Music, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education of at-risk middle school students in the New Orleans area.
